How do I change my Original Order?

If I want to change from my Original Order MYLR to MYP, how do I do that? Cancel order and place a new order? I don't want to lose my deposit......

You don’t need to cancel your original order. Go to the website, login to your account and Edit details of your order from there.

SA can help, or you can try to edit through your account. Make sure you are logged in to your account, then use "www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/edit-design/RNxxxxxxx" (replace with your RN#). That should open up an edit button and you can preview changes and new price before submitting.

I don't have an "edit design" link.....I have "view design details", there is no edit design...Maybe because I'm close to getting a vin.....EDD July 28-Sept 8

you can't edit unless you switch to cash instead of financing. when issued a vin, then switch back to financing. all through your SA.

The "Edit Configuration" no longer shows up on your order page. Elsewhere on this blog some have stated you cannot make changes anymore.
NOT TRUE. I called the (888) 518-3752 got thru to Amber in two minutes and she reset my order page which now has an edit link. Voila my Blue/White MUP is now Red/White. Just like that. And she confirmed no price change except for the additional $1000 for the red paint upcharge. The delivery date stayed at May15 to May 29!! I just watched it change colors on my phone app. Lovin' TESLA today.

If you have financing and a Trade you will have to call the Tesla sales number at a local dealer, they can do it...as can your SA if have one.

You can also call CUSTOMER SERVICE and they will reset your configuration page and let you edit your design. Number is in my post below.

Don’t cancel. I contacted my SA via text and they updated it on their end. Less than an hour I saw it on my app. Plus I got an email.
