How do I find which AP hardware I have?

This is an April 2017 Model S. It has security mode but does it have
AP 2? 2.5? How do I tell? I've looked through the original purchase papers
and it never mentions the AP hardware specifically.

With a new big fast usb with TeslaCam directory on it the dash never
shows a camera outline and the car writes
nothing to the usb. The round security mode light/button
is near the top right of the screen and shows a red eye or black
depending on whether security mode is on or off.

2.5 was released late July 2017 and all August production cars have it.

You have AP 2.0 based on your build date which has sentry mode but will not record dashcam footage

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up.

I will now wire the Blackvue to be watching and
recording while parked since the car won't record
(right now blackvue power goes off when I leave the car).

Does your car recognize cones? If it does you have 3.0 otherwise you have 2.5
