How do you delete "Onboard" footage?

Rad all the posts. I bought a second hand Tesla and can’t delete the onboard footage from the previous owner. When I click on it there in no delete trash can only ‘save footage to USB drive option it’s only 1:58 seconds but I find it annoying to see it there.

Have you tried saving it to your USB drive? Perhaps it's a "move" rather than "copy" function?

the only way it will be overwritten is if you trigger an alarm event. I.e. hit the windshield with your fist to trigger car's alarm.

For me, unfortunately, the solution was to reset the car.
The event was deleted but I lost the history of mileage, energy used and average energy

I'm having the same problem. I suppose it's stored in the car system memory. I don't want to reset the car system so I guess I'll have to live with it....

Is there any new updates to this?

When I had Alloygator's installed on my car, it triggered the alarm and it shows the onboard when the car was being lifted up! Unfornately I cannot erase it either.
