It really is kinda crazy. Same thing happened when I bought my current car. Ordered and got VIN next day. Inventory car. Tesla Dedham called this morning today with the VIN.
My vin finally showed up this afternoon. I live by the Fremont factory. Curious when I will get a phone call to come pick up. Ordered May 13. Vin in source code today
Purchase Agreement showed up in my online account tonight with my VIN! Not sure how long it takes from here to hear about delivery, but it is Sunday night, so I can understand not hearing from them yet, haha!!
Ordered the 26th, vin on the 6th, on the 7th I transferred my money from my account and scheduled delivery the 9th.

Ordered on 6/6, VIN (via page source) on 6/8. When I ordered the expected delivery date for my area (95134) was 1-4 weeks. Today I noticed expected delivery is now 1-3 weeks. I live 15 minutes from Fremont HQ, so hopefully it's a bit sooner than that.

Welcome to the waiting room. I ordered a M3P black/black on 3/5... Still waiting for VIN! On the positive side, the price dropped $2k since I ordered and it looks like now I'll be getting a wireless charging pad and USB C installed. Thankfully, I can wait a bit longer if necessary.

I ordered a white Performance 3, black interior. Vin showed up source code Sunday, Monday morning got a text about delivery. Made payment and have it set up for this week. I am in California near the factory. Original order date was may 13
