It takes more than dropping them a msg to get a timely reaction. It's like a competition. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, others wait in line. If your issue is pressing, put out some squeak. The on-line chat is the way that's worked for me, that and making an appt request, and calling and waiting on hold. And then calling the local service center.
My Android 5 phone doesn't display the appointment-making page, it's hidden behind a blank page. But for most people, that would be the first choice.
