How long does it take for referrals to show up?

I just had a friend use my referral code yesterday. She ordered at a Delivery Center but said she used my code. How long does it take to show up in my app?

Mine took about a week to show up for the order. The day it was delivered showed up on the same day.

I've only had a few, but mine have all showed up nearly immediately (one was within an hour of the order being placed online). They should move to 'ordered' quickly, and then 'delivered' the day following delivery.

Orders placed in person could be different.

My friend did the Off-menu order through a sales agent in order to get LR. So this would explain the week delay on order.

my referral showed up almost immediately. However, I've still not seen anything about getting a free wall charger even though it only took one referral under the old program. ~6 weeks ago.

I don't think my friend ever got his referral and i used the referral link to orcas my car. I opened cases with Tesla but i don't think he ever got it. He was supposed to get a free wall connector.

Did you referral already take delivery? You should be able to redeem as soon as they show up as Delivered.

They did but what seems to have happened is now that it requires 2 referrals under the new program i'm not showing a reward even though under the old program it was one referral to get a reward.

If they order in store, you need to ask their sales or delivery advisor to email [email protected]. Anything short of that (even if the advisor said they "added it in the system") does not count. I had 3 referrals so far where the code was entered by an advisor and each took about a half dozen emails before getting recognized. The store advisors don't seem to realize that the referral department is the only official way to get a code added.

I just read mine and saw what you say above, 2 referrals for a Wall Charger.

At this point, what do you recommend that I do?

The referral is important for both of us. She gets 6 months free Supercharging. I at least get 1 referral on my record. I mean, I could see if I can go with her when she picks up the car this weekend and talk to the people at the center.

Would e-mailing the referral program myself do anything? At least kick start the process?

Ask her delivery advisor to email the referral program with your code and cc both of you. Then follow up with your own email to referral program a few days later if it still doesn’t show up.
