How long have you been waiting? (when did you reserve?)

I reserved my Sig on the very first day (Feb. 23, 2009) and cancelled my Roadster order a couple of months after that. As a result, all the Roadster owners who reserved a Sig after me (even recently) are ahead of me in line. They're "Special Sig", I'm not :-/

Reserved early Dec 2009, and immediately joined TMC.
When I heard that Tesla had reached profitability with the roadster (I didn't fully realize that it was only for a month or so) it gave me enough confidence to put in the money.

The wait was easier in the beginning because there was no news and we just got on with our lives. Now that we are getting closer and we see the factory, and deliveries, and test drives, and everything, it makes the wait much harder!

Tell me about it. For a year or so, it was bliss as I went on with other things, only popping in a bit to see if there was any news.

I feel like a short-timer, having only been on the list since July 2011!

Surprised that I ended up with a Sig number (414) lower than many who reserved months (if not years ) before I did.

I feel bad about cutting in line.

Okay maybe not THAT bad!

I put my first $5,000 deposit down in October 2010 for P2XXX, put the second $35,000 down in March 2011 to upgrade to Sig 229. If I had known that it would move me up from 2XXX to 229, I would've upgraded much sooner. I spoke with my "Product Specialist" last night and was told to expect delivery sometime in September. I'm literally counting the fill-ups until then.....

Initially put down the $5k deposit April of 2011 and had P#3,579 then quickly decided to move to a Sig just about two weeks after we made our initial reservation and have Sig # 267 (Not a roadster owner or family and friend).

Also my time frame agrees with Tesla229, probably will be Mid-September for delivery.

I reserved on Dec 5th 2009 and got P1456. Even though I am very eager to get the car, I am happy to wait for Tesla to work out the kinks. I just hope that it does not go past the end of the year. I am hoping for a beautiful and fast Christmas present.

I am sorry that I don't have mad Photoshop skills to put a red bow on a Model S photo :)

I reserved March 27, 2009. And then I upgraded to Signature as soon as that was available in Canada on March 11, 2011. I'm not sure if I'll remain a Sig, but I can decide that once we actually see Canadian pricing. The first couple of years went quickly, but now that the end is in sight it seems like a long time! I need to stop reading the forum every day. ;^)

I believe I reserved P2112 August 10, 2010. Due to issues with Paypal I had to work with Tesla to get it all sorted so my confirmation didn't come for a few days after that. The experience I had working with Tesla to resolve the problem was one of the best I have ever had with a company.

I reserved in mid Feb 2010 after seeing the Roadster at the Toronto International Auto Show & being told about the Model S by one of the Palo Alto staff who was working up at the event...plunked the down payment down 2 days later...I didn't consider the Roadster until I was made aware of the special lease program months later.

I upgraded to the Sig series as soon as it was made available to Canada.

I didn't jump on board right away - I waited for my Roadster to be delivered first, on July 2, 2010. We didn't succumb to a Model S reservation until November 10, 2010.

On March 10, 2011, I got an email announcing the launch of Signature Model S in Canada. It took me all of 14 minutes to respond. Getting faster...
