How long to calibrate for cruise control?

Model S 100D with 1,200km done and still “cruise control not available”. Spoke to Tesla and advised that it could take 500~1000 miles to calibrate. Anyone else have this problem?

Picked up my MS75 in December. My cruise and autopilot was calibrated by the time I reached home from the service center. The trip was a total of 28 miles. Not sure if I am an outlier here but that is the only example I can give you.

Received my MS P100D in December 2017. Cruise/autopilot wasn't available for about 30 - 50 miles or so but then kicked in. I had never heard of someone needing 500 - 1000 miles for it to calibrate. That just doesn't sound right. Most I have seen say about 50 miles.

Are there a lack of lane markings in your area or something? Could that be a reason why it would take longer?

It took less than 20 miles for AP to be available.

Resolved on March 17. Engineer came to my home and replaced camera on RHS indicator with faulty connection. Everything working since.

There was someone else here on the forum that had the exact same issue: TACC / AutoPilot did not become available. Was also a non-working camera. Apparently this is not part of the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection).
