How long to charge at an 8kW Supercharger?

Well, guess we will be taking a Prius with us! Thank you for the input. If we stayed there, it could work, but they don't take pets, so we are staying at an Airbnb in Elkins, WV, for the week.

From experience it’s best to take the reliable Prius on any long road trip…

Be adventuresome. More than 183,000 miles in trips in all directions and have never been left wanting or waiting. Add venture in all directions. I have Gotten where I don’t even check the build out as they will be there.

Plugshare has it listed as a destination charger. It would take us 36 miles round trip to get there, so this would not be a great solution. Here's a picture of it:

If you are adventurous, and have a handy tool to identify electric outlets... and are able to identify two 120v outlets at your airbnb that are out of phase from each other... Then you can use a quick-220 device, which will combine the two legs into a single NEMA 6-15 outlet, which will allow you to charge at double the rate of a standard 110v outlet. Still slow, but better than nothing, and better than a plain 110v outlet.
