How long to receive registration paperwork from Tesla?

Took delivery of my MY on June 5. Still have not received any paperwork in the mail from them, and my temp plates expire in a week. Is this normal? I messaged my SA and he said 3-3.5 weeks to receive paperwork, which gives pretty much no room to receive plates without the temps expiring.

So you didnt receive DMV / Registration paperwork from the time you picked up/ home delivery of the car?

I did home delivery and there was a large Fedex envelope with paperwork for me to sign and send back. I sent mine back the day after and waited a month before my plates were mailed to me.

Not sure if Tesla's doing something new and now NOT including paperwork for DMV/ Registration but that is odd.

On side note, my plates that was delivered to me appeared to be a nearby Tesla Delivery center 40 mins away. If I had the option to, I wouldve brought in my paperwork to get my plates.
