Usually in the past.
interesting question. i'd expect a price hike at the end of the year, but it could happen earlier for sure.

i feel like they lose a bunch (big bunch) of credibility if they raise prices before the end of the year.

It will stay there for a long time, even as the fed credit disappears.
As Tesla make more and more cars, the cost of of manufacturing will decrease.

Of course the effective price will increase as tax credits disappear

Elon says he's shooting for a $25K model (didn't say of what) in 3-4 years. I don't think they'll be raising prices on the SR for a long, long time. They put it where it is for a very good reason.

The price of the SR won't rise. I don't see a big market for the Model Y. The pickup OTOH will be a game changer if priced right, but that's unlikely. So, I think the price of the SR will come down as Tesla will find innovative ways to cut costs in order to survive.

Lol what are you talking about? The crossover/ small to mid SUV market is the largest BY FAR in the United States. The model Y demand could be huge depending on how it looks and the price.
