How long will the delivery center hold your car?

I got a VIN Friday late afternoon. It was too late to secure financing from my credit union. I am concerned it will take more than a few days to secure financing and get a check. I did not pre-apply. I would also like to delay because I am in the middle of refinancing my house. BUT I don't want to lose my car. How long will they hold my car?

Tesla says you have 3 days before they have the option to release the vehicle to someone else.

Not sure how strictly they follow that.
