If you got your *sugar* together, drive something less nasty than a smart car. There's other EV options to impress a dad FFS, we both know it.
Masculinity is ultimately about being a protector no matter what you drive.
I totally agree! I selected a Model X with 5 seats because I sell brass musical instruments and wanted the largest Tesla available to carry them around. Mind you, it impresses everyone that sees, be they male or femaleWhy are we gender profiling drivers to Tesla’s 3s, Ss and Xs. We should be buying and driving the Tesla that meets OUR needs. Before I owned a MX, I use to love the looks of Tesla’s and was impressed that it was electric, I could have cared less who was driving it. I’m a 71 year old male, and I have a 7 passenger MX so I can haul 5 grandyoungones at a time!
That said i think it’s almost a must to have the 22 inch rims instead of the stock 20s. I was completely against them my first 2 years with the X, but now I will never dispute that handling and looks are in another league with the 22s.
Yeah for me the rangeloss was going to be the biggest pill to swallow, but when i was able to make all my usual road trips with zero issues at all, that’s when my range issues disappeared.I really like the look with the 22s. My only gripe is the range loss (not that big of a deal) and having to deal with snow tires in the winter since I assume they come with summers stock.
27 year old guy here, married with no kids. But the Model X is imo the superior more updated vehicle in terms luxury options like all doors being self operating and better seats and the doors of course. I wouldn’t pay for a model s when I spend a similar amount and have all the extras of an X. That said i think it’s almost a must to have the 22 inch rims instead of the stock 20s. I was completely against them my first 2 years with the X, but now I will never dispute that handling and looks are in another league with the 22s.
Is there anything less masculine then worrying about being masculine?

X is pretty far down the list of actual chick cars if it were even included.
Miatas
Bugs
Mini coppers
Civic del sols
Malibus
Yaris
Explorers
Not sure why masculinity is so underrated around here.
It’s not entirely from the car you drive but the attitudes, roles, expectations, basic survival common sense around masculinity is important.
If I had to pick between my daughters date showing up in a Miata packing a march for for our lives shirt or a Mazda 3 packing .45ACP I would have more confidence in the latter as an acceptable companion.
What would an online conversation be without trolls. Thanks for the unhelpful comment/insult.
