I never thought to look, but just checked and mine also says Model 3.

Fits the Model S key nicely though, the old one had gone slack after 2+ years of use.

I ordered a model s and got a model x. Waiting for Tesla to email me back

I also ordered a Model S key band and got a Model 3 instead. I emailed customer service twice and got a response saying they apologize for the mistake and will expedite the correct band to me. They didn't want the model 3 band back either.
