How many tax credits in a year?

Any one know how many tax credits we are allowed to claim in a year? I heard it is two? Thanks

For the federal tax credit (which I assume is what you are asking about) there is no limit. Well, aside from how many eligible cars you buy (and intend to keep, not resell), and how much tax liability you have.

Worst case 3 or more cars in one year might (?) trigger an audit; but if you really bought them all for yourself, they should grant it.
