Have you driven a Ford lately? Still a Ford not a Tesla.
Yeah I traded in a Tesla for 2021 F150 ICE… **GASP**

Boooooo
I’ve never even seen a ford lately. is that a new compact SUV or something?Have you driven a Ford lately? Still a Ford not a Tesla.
I don't believe in the fear porn that the media keeps pumping out.We were talking about non-pandemic/non-Ukrainian war/non-quarantined-Shanghai prices when the outlook of conquering the disease was within the grasp and the promise of normalization of computer chips and parts would be soon.
Now, it's 2022 with the cutthroat prices.
Most likely there are so few being made so far that many dealerships won't even get one.Clearly, the Ford dealer in my town is not interested in selling the F150 EV. They have no information on the truck and no idea when they will have one to look at. In fact, they said when one does come in it will be an ordered truck and not available to look at.
They then asked if I would like one of their ICE trucks.
I am sure you are right about that. It's just disappointing, and it is different at each dealer..that some are positive about the EV truck, others not very much. Most likely there are so few being made so far that many dealerships won't even get one.
It's still going to take time for all these pick up EVs to be produced in #s
Had the same experience when I bought my Volt way back. Dealer actually told me he would sell me a truck and I can just put the Volt in the back. Cadillac was no better with my ELR…stopped making parts and gave me a mismatched headrest when my passenger side broke. Most likely there are so few being made so far that many dealerships won't even get one.

Wow. I knew the F150 was the most popular truck but it is actually the most popular vehicle sold in the US.This is a big deal.
This is why we knew Ford truly had a change of heart: They electrified their cash cow (both, actually, including the Mustang), unlike BMW's i3 or Chevy's Volt/Bolt.it is actually the most popular vehicle sold in the US.
correct. the F150 (and to a lesser extent the Mustang) saved Ford during a time GM had to beg for government bailout...This is why we knew Ford truly had a change of heart: They electrified their cash cow (both, actually, including the Mustang), unlike BMW's i3 or Chevy's Volt/Bolt.
Thx 4 the updateFor those who don't know, the release event is at 1:30pm EST today.
