Yeah I traded in a Tesla for 2021 F150 ICE… **GASP**
Clearly, the Ford dealer in my town is not interested in selling the F150 EV. They have no information on the truck and no idea when they will have one to look at. In fact, they said when one does come in it will be an ordered truck and not available to look at.
They then asked if I would like one of their ICE trucks.

It was just a trial, going back to an EV but in a Ford. If Tesla ever decides to actually make a Cybertruck I will be back in a Tesla or eventually a Model S.

Most likely there are so few being made so far that many dealerships won't even get one.
It's still going to take time for all these pick up EVs to be produced in #s

Had the same experience when I bought my Volt way back. Dealer actually told me he would sell me a truck and I can just put the Volt in the back. Cadillac was no better with my ELR…stopped making parts and gave me a mismatched headrest when my passenger side broke.

Wow. I knew the F150 was the most popular truck but it is actually the most popular vehicle sold in the US.This is a big deal.
I actually thought that was a mistake and looked it up. Nope. It is the most popular vehicle.
Funny thing the top 3 are all pickups: F150, then the RAM 1500, then the Chevy Silverado
This is why we knew Ford truly had a change of heart: They electrified their cash cow (both, actually, including the Mustang), unlike BMW's i3 or Chevy's Volt/Bolt.

Eager to see the F150 Lightning, but when I replace my '18 Denali Canyon diesel in 3-5 years, it'll almost certainly be with the CT or the Stellantis/ Ram product.
