I have had my model Y for about 6 weeks. My next Tesla insurance premium is supposed to be about $138 based on 15K miles for the year. However, If I take a road trip of 2K miles roundtrip next week I'm wondering what impact that might have on my premium.

My State Farm policy on a different vehicle dropped by 10% back in 2019 when I converted the policy from an unlimited policy to 7,500 miles per year. Of course, that means absolutely nothing in your specific case, so you'll need to contact your agent and get them to quote the policy change for your specific vehicle, location, and driving history.
