How should i remove a trade in without delaying delivery

I'm now getting less for my trade in than I am willing to accept from Tesla so I'd like to remove the trade in and instead pay by cash on my delivery date which is coming up soon. What's the best way to remove the trade in and switch my transaction to cash? Should I do it in advance or do it the morning of delivery?

Also, do they still take cashiers check from a bank?

In the other advice to avoid delaying my delivery? Keeping the delivery experience efficient?

I just did it through the portal. I confirmed with my SA it wouldn't delay my order since I was paranoid about that and it didn't seem to change my EDD

But I have a Confirmed delivery date next week. And I don't see any option to change any longer.

Oh gotcha, try emailing/talking to your SA.

I don't know about Tesla but in my other car transactions it shouldn't matter.

I'm assuming you're financing via Tesla so if your cash/check payment is equal or greater than what you agreed to when you were approved for financing then it shouldn't matter

I called SA to remove trade and paid with cashiers’ check, both last week. No issues with either, but did have to wait a while to flag down a worker to give them the check so they could mark the car as delivered.
