How should I treat the wood trim?

My MYLR was delivered with the wood trim rather dry looking. I asked at the service center whether it's part of the delivery fit&finish work and was told no.

What have folks used to treat their wood trim successfully? For a moderately expensive car, I would have expected better frankly.

I felt the same about the woodgrain trim piece in my MYP when I first saw it. (I assume you're referring to the piece going across the dash?)

I used some 303 protectant on it, & I think it looks better; has a bit more of a luster to it, like it has a finish on it as opposed to bare wood. I'm sure there are other products that would do the same, possibly with more shine, if that's what you'd prefer. I like the 303 product, since it dries quickly without an "oily" finish, such as you'd see with Armorall.

Mine was dry as well. I used a generic wood restoration wipe on/off product that darkened it a bit and brought back some shine.
