I was test driving a model S and asked to check lifetime kwh/mile usage. He mentioned there is no way to check that as car has been reset. Is it true?

If not, can some please share instruction on how to do that? Or alternative way to find out ?

    Thanks!

Check his trip meters. If he had not reset one since delivery then it will show that.

Assuming this is a private sale. He can ask Tesla to get that information for him. The guys at the SC can easily look that up. If you are buying from a non-Tesla dealer, you might have problems getting that.

Again assuming a private sale, ask if the car is registered with Teslafi.com. If so, there is a wealth of information there that can tell you how the car has been driven.
