How to confirm Wall Connector is correctly configured?

You don't really need to check because the configuration is stored in non-volatile memory, but if you really want to check, plug it into your car and see if it shows 0/48 or 0/15 during the beginning of charging. It takes several tens of seconds for it to ramp up so you should be able to hit the 'stop charging' button before anything untoward happens. Additionally, and I wouldn't rely on this, the car will almost definitely notice the dramatic loss in voltage and turn down/off charging when it sees things are amiss(were it to try to draw 48 amps out of the 15 amp circuit). It would still trip the breaker if it were allowed to continue(presuming it turns the current down to 25 as it sees the horrendous voltage drop).

Edit: I assume you mean the 15A >breaker< setting, meaning you should really be seeing 0/12A.
