How to disable rear seat belt warning beeps

Hi

I’ve heard you can disable the annoying rear seatbelt beeps for the journey

How do you do this I’ve tried pressing the red seatbelt icon but no luck

That works in some countries but still not in Europe for some unknown reason. Only option is either to plug in the seatbelt and then put the child seat in or purchase a seatbelt clip and use that in the buckle.

From the manual my understanding is if you touch the seat the alarm will stop but I’ve never tried this.

If like me you put coats or bags behind the driver seat regularly, then just leave the seat belt fastened all the time. There is no fix in the european car version (although there is in other less stringent jurisdictions with button presses) and it is not worth more than two seconds of your time IMHO.
