How to DIY swap a model S drive unit

What the title says...

If you just swap the unit and the firmware inside isn't the same (matching would be allot of luck).

How do you get it running again?

What would one need? Or is a visit to the tesla service centre an option (they dont touch a self swapped unit i guess..)
