How to energize photovoltaic system

Looking for something that I am sure I was told but can't find/remember...

I got a notice today from my city utilities that they exchanged my electric meter for a photovoltaic net meter. The note said that now I (or the installer) may energize photovoltaic system.

Ummmm. I think that there is an app that I should download to monitor the system, right? What app is that? And will it energize the system for me?

Take it easy on me, OK? I'm 71 years old and doing my best to help the environment. I bought a Model 3 and solar panels, just need a bit of help to get going...

Oh man. I should delete that post but I don't know how. Following the directions for the Gateway did not do the trick so I called Tesla. hey said that they can't actually turn it on yet until they get an email from my city utilities.

Furthermore my Gateway is not getting sever connection so it is something that they will have to take care of. T

So never mind the message above. Sorry to bother everyone!
