How to file tax return for model s 60

What do you guys put in for the battery size and the weight of the car when filing the 7500 rebate from California?
How come I am only qualified for like 3500 out of the 7500?
Is my tax guy doing it wrong?

The $7,500 is a federal tax credit and has nothing to do with rebate and California.

The way tax credit works is that it reduces your tax liability by that amount. It sounds like you only have 3500 tax liability which is why you don't get to claim all 7500 of it. You can only claim up to your tax liability amount.
