How to get Delivery Specialists Attention?

I often get called a fanboy around here but this fanboy is getting his patience extremely tested at this point... Ordered a Model X to replace my Model S as part of an early lease swap promo and while I have other issues with that process that still aren't flushed out, it's the delivery of my Model X that I've just about had it with.

Roughly 2 weeks ago someone from Nevada on the delivery scheduling team reached out to me to schedule delivery and I supposedly did that for this Friday. Since then I got an email on Monday from someone in the energy team (yes the energy team) to confirm specific details such as my address/DL info for the final paperwork. Okay, but in that email no confirmation of my delivery date/time was included. My car finished production yesterday according to the website and now today, my delivery location has suddenly be marked as "incomplete". I cannot get my delivery specialist to reply to a single email nor do I know who to call or communicate with. Is something wrong with my delivery? Can I get my delivery details confirmed? Basic questions that I cannot get an answer to. What do I do?

This lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable and I'm extremely close to just telling Tesla to keep their car and fight to refund my $2500... I don't see what's so freaking hard about replying to an email, even a short reply of "super busy will reply with more detail later".

I know at some level I'm just venting here and I realize no one here can do anything for me... I guess I'm just hoping someone here has a number I can call or an email address for someone who will actually reply to an email. Tesla Finance was super responsive, the loyalty department also super responsive, same goes for the factory tour team. Delivery? Yeah... Complete black hole...

I’d call customer care to check on the delivery date.

My delivery was scheduled for 09/29. I emailed my DS and OA in this week to check if there are any changes to the delivery date. Didn’t hear back from them. I guess they are either swamped with end of quarter deliveries or they may not know until the car gets to delivery center in Springfield NJ.

I took delivery of my Model X yesterday doing the same thing... a lease return of a Model S.

I got a call confirming the time the day before (Monday). I originally got sent an email with the delivery time a couple weeks ago. I also stopped receiving responses from my OA. However, I kept communicating with the Loyalty Advisor and was able to get almost everything answered that way.

My account also showed the delivery location as incomplete.

But yeah, I think they're just swamped. When I arrived, there was a dozen or so Model 3's set up for delivery along with 2 S's and my X... and that was at about 6:30 PM.

the Fremont Delivery Center is like this. Imagine how busy they are deliver 20 cars every couple of hours. We need to get used to not getting the hand-holding of the pre Model 3 days. No more people lining up and applauding. This is now volume delivery. Get em in, get em out. Next.

Yeah, it was a very different experience from the last two times I picked up Teslas. I picked up my S from the factory back in December '15 and did the factory tour. And then had the personal walkthrough.

We picked up our 3 from Marina Del Rey in December '17 and had a similar experience with personal walkthrough. That was also inside the building.

Yesterday's delivery was in the parking lot and was clearly set up for volume. Fortunately, since I'd already experienced the other deliveries, I was perfectly fine with it.

That is what I saw in Fremont in June. There was little roped of area like a club and they took from that to your car for a couple of pictures, and then quickly back where you did the paperwork. There a dozen or so delivery people and they seemed stressed. They had a hard time getting out paperwork printed so we could sign in and give them a nice sized check. We spent about 2 hours there and most of the time were waiting for paperwork or some one to deal with some minor cleaning issues we found.

In the end they said here is your keys, your car is in the parking lot, bye! Since this was our first Tesla my wife was a little miffed because it was nothing like all of the videos people post on YouTube.

I would call the main number they are able to back channel to DS or at least get someone u can talk to ...good luck !

Yeah I just gave up and emailed [email protected] to see if they can give me any information... My online account is all messed up from the delivery location now missing to the financing section now showing a cash balance...

Ugh...

It's the end of the quarter, they are beyond slammed right now. I know this statement doesn't help, but it's the truth.

I kinda hope international deliveries for Model 3 open up soon just to take some of the load off the US locations. Shipping half the Model 3's produced overseas would certainly ease the strain on the US locations right now. They are literally trying to deliver every Model 3 and the US S & X.

Let us know how your delivery goes today. All the best!

If there will be one... Technically it is scheduled but I don't know where, how much to bring, etc...

Tesla is such a joke right now, I couldn't recommend anyone buy anything from them until they can get their act together... I think the thing that angers me the most is all of this constant talk about the Model 3... I'm not buying a Model 3 and I think that's my problem, that's the only car Tesla cares about delivering right now so if you're not buying one of those, you're SOL...

If I were you, I would just show up at the delivery center since it is already scheduled for today.

I have a delivery scheduled for a week from today but my online account just says "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory" and my delivery location is incomplete too. I can't select the service center where I will pick it up so it's always been incomplete. My DA constantly reassures me that he sees both the date and the location in their internal systems and it's all on track so I'm just taking him at his word. My delivery location is 300 miles from my home and I'm flying and staying in a hotel with no other way to get home so, if he's wrong, I'm just going to make him personally drive me home. :)
