How to install the model x mud flaps?

I went with these

I'm pretty happy with them. 3/4 fit very tight. The 4th, I'm not sure why, maybe shipping issue is my guess, but it's still close. I'd still like to put 1 more screw at the very base of them, strait up, does anyone want to help verify a 1/2" screw won't go into anything important? I'm 90% sure the rear it's just plastic, but the front ones I'm not sure. They are plenty tight now, so maybe I don't screw down the fronts.

My sets fit much better than your. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

I found some screws at the local hardware store I liked. Stainless Steel w/black heads. Probably not 'needed' but I like them on tight.
You won't see them anyway unless you usually look at cars bent over or laying on the ground.

Well... almost lasted a year. Salt did in the original hardware. Kinda $hitty to not come with more durable screws.
$4 at the local hardware store, I have the best material known to man. Stainless Steel. Still like the mud flaps, but cheap hardware means this goes from 5/5 stars to 3/5.
