I’ve read up on all of the pet-related threads and plan to get the Evannex pet cargo liner to take our Labrador on travels. We tried the hammock style pet protector over the rear seats of my wife’s Lexus ES330 but the family dog was too antsy and a dangerous distraction during driving.
For those that travel and keep their dog(s) in the Model S cargo area, how do you keep the dog(s) cool back there? I am worried from all those stories about kids sweating back there with jump seats. The pet cargo covers would appear to cover up any vents. I may need to experiment and stay in the trunk on a hot day with the AC on and see how bad it really gets. Any advice?
