Since my last post I actually just grab the front bottom of the seat about a foot in from each side (see pic where the loop is that goes down into the grommet) and give it a hard jerk up. It may take a couple times but it just pops out. Note when you replace that seat cover you will need to cut the metal loops that hold it on and then replace them with a similar ones. I got mine off of amazon for cheap and it works great. Good luckHi All,
I am a new member and relatively new Tesla owner. I am trying to install seat covers on my 2018 Model S (took delivery in September). Unfortunately I can't figure out for the life of me how to remove the back seat bottom cushion so that I can install these covers. I am unable to locate the grommets mentioned in Happy Happy's post. And if a try just simply pulling up the seats don't budge. Any suggestions?
What color? I have a spare tan and then the black leather/cloth.
