How to safely eject USB media memory stick?

Press and hold the dash cam icon to pause the recording. Look for this section in your manual.

The dash cam function is always writing to the USB drive. If you don’t use the dash cam and only use the USB for music, your statements could be correct.

From the OP that was being responded to (emphasis mine):

I know how to safely eject the dashcam USB drive but how do you eject a separate USB drive containing media files?
