How to secure vehicle with phone inside?

Hopefully a quick question. Play a lot of golf and normally dont take my phone with me.

Saw some youtube vids and looks like if you have your phone in vehicle but key card walk away, it wont lock.

How can I leave my phone in the ride but still secure. I normally leave in airplane mode, but that leaves bluetooth on. Do I have to go airplane mode and turn bluetooth off and just take the keycard with me?

Turning off Bluetooth should do the trick, you can do it from control center, and just click Bluetooth off. remember, if you do it that way on an iPhone, it may decide to reactivate after a certain amount of time.

Turn off BT on your phone. Take Key Card with you.

You can lock you phone inside the glove box (you can set a PIN).

Just a heads up that some phones will automatically turn the BT back on. I've noticed it a few times on my Android...

Use Airplane mode instead.

Turn Bluetooth off in the main settings as opposed to the quick controls. Glove box lock is a great idea.
