Mine is zipped up in the cover and safely hanging from two hooks on the wall.

Ditto. The bag has nice solid mounting rings for just that purpose.

There's a cover? I never got one, they just put the hard top on my car (about 6 months after delivering the car, I might add).

Is this supposed to be standard, or is it something you ordered separately?

I ordered it separately from Tesla.

I never got the cover - probably should. Mine's hanging upside down in the garage (wall space is all spoken for) wrapped completely in a sheet and suspended by earthquake straps bolted to the normal mounting positions and hung on eye hooks in the joists (added extra grommet holes with a brass grommet kit), with elastic tie downs in a net under the car as a backup. Nothing really touches any paint that way, and I could suspend it and get it back on the car myself.

Before they produced the cover, I asked if they could have 4 rings for a ceiling mount. Alas, no.

It's a pretty good cover/bag. Pretty well-designed. My question is, why store the hard-top this time of year? I'm just about to break mine out!

You need one here. 100+ for over 60 days during summer.
