How to tell if you have Matrix headlights?

Hello,
I have a MSP white, 21” with a build date of 12/21/21. I was reading that Tesla was recently upgrading MS to matrix headlights. Yet my headlights look very similar to Matrix I think. How can you tell?

If your car was built in Dec, 2021 you do not have matrix headlights.

Also for anyone coming looking for the actual info on how to distinguish, the easiest way is probably to look at the front bottom potion inside the light, non-matrix is silver, matrix is black.

Simple, look at your tail lights. Do they look like they belong on a 2012 car or a 2022 car? If they look the latter, congrats you are in the matrix. Your car has to be built in late February at the earliest so no you don’t have matrix LED. The matrix LED kind of looks like HID projectors

OK, seems not matrix, but there are quite a few LED and reflectors in there. My tail lights look like a 2022.

I’m not sure how that would be possible. The tail lights and headlights were switched over at the same time.

You have the “old” style of both.

If your model s has a charge port door that opens like a falcon door congrats you have matrix headlights lol.

if you have projector style headlights you probably have matrix
