Probably a dumb question but before I go on to refer friends and family, I'd like to know how the referral credit could be used. Is there a fine print? Can it be used towards buying extended warranty, service plans or accessories?

    Thank you

The current program offers "rewards" instead of credit.

Example: 2 referrals and you get a duffle bag.

    Here's the program: Referral Program

So if I give Tesla business for about $300k, I get a jacket? What a great deal!

I got a jacket with my 3rd order, luggage on my 4th. But I am pretty sure they have done away with awesome goodies nowadays.

I wish they had kept the $1000 credit for both buyer and owner.

To me it's just a gesture showing appreciation, not really meant to be a fair compensation for business generated.

Don't know if this may have been addressed in another thread, if so, sorry.

The $1000 owner credits from the prior referral program expire December 31. I had not signed onto My Tesla for several months, and never received e-mail notification from Tesla about this. My son-in-law alerted me after seeing a post on the Tesla Motors forum.

If you still have a credit, better use it quick.

Did you actually get the stuff?

I got an email from Tesla a few months ago, to "orsder" mine, but never received anything.

That's against the rules of the referral program.

Ahh okay thanks for letting me know. I'm ordering tomorrow. Anyone from Wisconsin and have a referral credit? I have one to give to a fellow packer fan.
