I feel sorry for my future teenagers - they don't stand a chance. 7 am - hop in the autonomous car - go straight to school driving the speed limit at all times. 3 pm - back in the driverless car - takes them wherever they're supposed to go and nowhere else. Reports their location to my phone or watch at all times.
At least they won't nearly kill themselves acting like human cruise missiles the way I did at age 16.
If my parents had the slightest idea that their mild mannered, nerdy, high GPA, soft spoken, skinny pimply son turned into a death defying demon in the family sedan every time I pulled out of the driveway they would've had a heart attack.
So to my future son - I'm sorry your teenage years won't be as wild as mine were. Hopefully when you're all grown up you'll thank me...
