This is a touchy topic but I wanted to solicit some opinions on the subject matter. It irked me quite a bit that Elon was quite frank in saying that Tesla will be "used as a political football" and "kicked around".
Now the way I see it as long as Tesla is competing with S-Classe that statement makes little sense. Sure the $7500 incentive might or might not get extended or redefined based on the election outcome. But that shouldn't be nowhere near the level of concern vs. Elon publicly admitting that the whole thing is kind of a big deal.
Where I'm going with this is the this question. Is there something material that is of serious concern for the short to medium term (election season) specifically or was he referring to potential negative longer term outcomes? To me it was pretty clear he's not a fan of either side so I can't quite read what this really means.
Thoughts?
