Hows night visibility with 20% tint all around?

Mine are very dark, don't know exactly but I would say 20% max. I live in Florida where this is very common if not necessary. Cannot see in the car but no issues seeing out. You'll be fine.

I once had a car with 20 on the driver/passenger side and hated it. I felt blind. YMMV. Oh, and the older you get, the more you will likely dislike it...
How old is that? Damn, I'm pushing 60 and still loving it. Don't believe everything you hear and only half of what you see. Words my father swore by.

I’ve got 18% all around including entire back glass and it’s great. It definitely is a lot darker at night, but not to the point where you can’t see by any means.

Simply put on a pair of sunglasses, with tint about the same as the film you are considering.

Drive around at night with them on to see how you are effected.

Did you disconnect the side mirror dimming? 20% + dimming sounds quite dark.

mirror dimming at night + tint hampers parallel parking
thankful for back camera and at least the wheels make a nice sound
worse comes to worse just roll down the window

I'm more concerned about the self-dimming side mirrors. All my previous cars have had 20% all around but this is the far car I own whose side mirrors also self-dimm.

20 all around 50 on windshield and the only time it causes me any issues is trying to see the edge of my driveway backing in. Any darker would be to much and any lighter not enough.

This. I have 25% all round and at night without good street lighting it’s basically impossible to parallel park using the side mirrors without putting windows down. It would no doubt be easier if I disconnected the auto-dimming, but I’m not at that stage yet since actually driving with cars behind me at night isn’t too much of an issue.

Bottom line is I wish I’d gone with 30% or maybe even 35%. That said, during the day 25% is just so great, sun or no sun.

I have 15 and find it actually improves night vision IF the other cars behind you have their lights on. takes all the glare out. Oh and im way older

15% Llumar all around and no windshield tint. I see perfectly out of all my windows at night. I actually don't mind the dimmed mirrors either because it totally blocks out any glare from headlights from behind.

20% will be a-okay

Clearly you don’t parallel park anywhere with little-to-no street lighting.

Kinda subjective but here is my advice and guideline. The darker you go the more you need to consider tinting the front glass. Think of the fishbowl effect. Like when you are looking out your kitchen window, at night, and no lights inside and u can see fine, then turn on the kitchen light and u cant see well outside. The front window lets in so much light that it makes it even worse on the side windows at night. The moment you tint the front you will be able to see very well out the sides with 20%.
Trust me on this. I have 5% on all sides and full back, and 20% on the front. Its the perfect combo and you can see everything at night.
