Howto: Tip Getting Dead Bugs Off Bumper/Body

Took a drive about 150 miles both way and accumulated a crap ton of bugs on the front bumper. Was busy and forgot to take them off for a few days and I wanted to share this trick that really worked.

I looked up a few tutorials and they started to use Dryer Sheets in a spray bottle to help take the bugs off.

My Tweaked method.

Take about 5 to 10 bounce dryer sheets. (any dryer sheet should work)
Place them in a large disposal cup filled with warm water.
Let the sheets really soften up in the water (about 2 to 3 mins).
use the sheets as wet wipes generously applying the wet solution from the cup if needed.
Let that sit for about 2 minutes.
Wipe it off with another clean dryer sheet.
This took off all of the bugs with 1 pass. Did not leave behind any swirl marks to scratches.
After the bugs are off you spray the area with water and notice a thin film of softener material may cling, so it's important to wash this off with liberal amounts of water.
Spray liberally with water until the dryer sheet softener remnants are gone (took me about 3-5 mins of garden hose spraying).

Dry with a clean microfiber towel.
