After sitting tight for 2.5 weeks, I finally replied back to Telsa (via SMS), who had said to contact them at the end of the month if I hadn't received an update. No response, but a couple of hours later, my car was offering up 2020.12.11.1. Possibly a coincidence, but I suspect someone flipped a bit they were supposed to have flipped in the first place and didn't want to admit it.
