HW3 Upgrade?

Just curious if anyone here has had their HW3 done yet, and if so, how did you find out about it?

I'm just wondering if Tesla has started allocating HW3 computers to Hawaii customers yet. I don't have a real reason to have a SC visit, except to fix the battery breather service bulletin, which I think is not really a big enough issue to warrant a stay at the SC. I think the Kakaako team is busy enough without having to do non-critical work.

I have the same question. 2018 M3, Dual Motor, Extended Range. Purchased FSD March 2019 - how do I get it.

Everytime I've contacted Tesla they say it will be coming soon.

I'm currently confirmed to be at the SC on Wed 25th Mar for the Infotainment Upgrade. That according to Tesla includes HW3.0 update too. Mine is a '17 90D MCU1 and HW2.0/AP2.0

My S with MCU1/HW2.0 has been upgraded to MCU2/HW3.0 Got it ! Completed!
O.M. Goodness - this is great. Its like having a new car now.
If you can, DO IT. You will not regret it.

Did you try scheduling an appointment from the App? They may surprise you by accepting it.I was rejected a few times but got lucky this time. Hopefully I won't catch the virus...a bit risky but went for it.

The SC's are practicing social distancing. Gloves, bags for the fobs, chains to separate visitors from staff. You will be safe.

I'm wondering how they are going to handle outer island upgrades. I can't get an answer.

I actually got mine done last Monday. Submitted a service request the Saturday before, they called same day and said I could come in anytime of the week. Unfortunately, I'm not needing to drive anywhere far though and I didn't get the latest update yet.

I have been making an appointment once a month in the app. Every time they say “Sorry, it’s not in stock yet. Try scheduling at a later time”

I’d rather just get a refund on FSD at this point. It seems like it’s never going to happen.

I finally was able to get appointment scheduled after a couple tries. HW3 parts are in but not sure if infotainment upgrade parts are. Will reschedule if they aren’t as would rather have MCU2 first.
