Tesla should put out a guerrilla press release.
It could go along the lines of "Because we didn't spend 5 years wasting our time with the hugely underpowered hydrogen RX-8, we know how to make a decent electric sports car".

The author's biggest problem other than flat out irresponsibility & stupidity, is that he is a mal-informed shopper.
The Lexus GS450h is a blast to drive, and Infinity has a brand new performance hybrid out that is faster than the Lexus.
Of course, it also appears that old Louis is a cheapskate and wants a new green performance vehicle for next to nothing...sad thing is he appears to be content with his decision to be part of the problem rather than part of the solution...
