Hmm, interesting. I might check out the IPO (or is it a DPO). If they succeed, they may have a bright future. Even though the general idea is free and out there, as far as I know, they'll be the only ones with actual experience.
Where is this in relation to the Harris Ranch Supercharger/swap location? (What an exciting development!) ~Larry
So many people said that this was likely the one Elon Musk idea that would never come to fruition. Even the colonization of Mars was considered more likely than the hyperloop. Elon Musk must be so proud to see this idea being taken seriously by [at least some of] the scientific community. I really hope it succeeds. I'm excited for it!
This is literally going to put Quay Valley on the map. Like Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook.
I hope this Hyperloop is built, but not very optimistic. I cannot find anything in Google Maps called "Quay" in the Central Valley. And where is the water going to come from for this new community located in parched California farm country?
Including a couple of Model S for scale in the rendering of the station building concept is a nice touch.

Maybe they can put in a desalination plant and pipe it in from the ocean like Carlsbad will have in 2016.
Worth noting that these guys are different than the company in the OP. I love that there are two very serious entities tackling the Hyperloop.. Three if you include SpaceX and their test track.
