Hi all, so I wanted to share: https://hiddenrides.com/. This is a side project/hobby for me - mainly because I enjoy browsing various car forums to see what cars I can afford at any given time. Thought you guys might enjoy given its a cross between tech/cars Any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated!
Very impressed at how fast your site is. It would be nice if you could narrow down the model or give suggestions on what to put in that box. Do you plan to include ebay? G
Your site crawls enthusiast forums and posts them in one location? Thats super awesome. Hold on to the code tightly. I'm in the retail automotive website industry (ive managed critical components of the most popular .com's in the USA), and yes... I find this friggin COOL
Happy Hump Day - just wanted to see if anyone had feedback on the new design and features (saved search alerts).
I like the saved search results, always good to know what pops in with your ideas in mind. I have several things you might be able to do to drive more engagement and lightly monetize as well. You can PM me if you'd like. I still think this is a really cool idea that no one even comes close to doing right now.
Looks good. One issue is when I accidentally selected mark as sold it should question if I’m sure. Otherwise I just marked a car as sold by accident when clicking through the site.
Thanks for flagging that. we actually have a system in place that double checks the SOLD listings, in additional to user input.
Browsed site. Just checked Tesla's and all listings were found on this site. How many sites does this look for Teslas (for example)?
Right now its pulling from 3 major Tesla sites. happy to add more but am having trouble finding more than a couple.
yeah - the software isnt smart enough track sold listings. unfortunately its gotta be manually flagged by users (we built in a button that says flag as sold). if anything its just a good data base to cross check asking prices.
