I killed Jimmy Hoffa.

Just kidding. I started the process of trading up to a 2015 P85D.
Found the car I wanted based on mileage and features, and clicked the Request Photos button on 3/29.
Got 33 1600x1200-resolution photos and studied them looking for any issues.
Nothing major appeared to be evident.
Contacted Tesla about it on 3/30, within an hour or so (on a Saturday) got a reply with the CarFax.
CarFax was clean, and shows it to be a one-owner, personal lease car in Texas near Houston.
Shipping from Texas to Baltimore = $2000.
Thought about stuff, crunched numbers, watched the asking price drop a couple hundred bucks each day.
Contacted my credit union about the car and gave them the info.
Clicked the button to put deposit onto my Amex card on 4/3.
Sent a few emails back and forth during this time about trade-in, etc.
Contacted insurance company on 4/12 and uploaded the insurance info.
Completed all 6/6 tasks on the Tesla site yesterday 4/13.

Tesla Red Brake Calipers

Now it's Tom Petty time: The waiting is the hardest part.

Surprised a Texas car would have the Subzero package. Might never have been used. I will definitely give it some use in PA.

Congrats. Very similar specs to what I am looking for in my search. My hangup is the nosecone. I want the new style and unfortunately, those are not very plentiful, yet.

You waited almost 2 weeks to finish the online forms? Hopefully that didn't cause any delays in your delivery.

What was your p85d miles and sale price?

I had received an email last Friday 4/19 with a delivery ETA of 4/24 or 4/25.

Got a call last night 4/22 that the car was delivered to my nearest Service Center.

A full charge shows 249 of the original 253 miles of range, 23,XXX miles put on by the original lessee. I will probably put that on in a year. Unmolested nosecone - no front plate bracket or holes.

Pickup scheduled for Friday 4/26.

Final documents e-signed this morning and forwarded to my credit union.

I noticed the following sentence on my Purchase Agreement: “You may transfer your Order Payment once to a different vehicle order within 72 hours of the Order Date. Please contact our Sales team to transfer your Order Payment to another order. After 72 hours from the Order Date, your Order Payment will become non-refundable.”

I know some have stated that sentence no longer appears on their agreement. I think there may be two separate documents. I am getting a low-mileage car with the 4yr/50K warranty so that might be significant?
