Just curious about Elon's statement about engineering the sensors to be able to 'see' through metal. He was speaking of the side collision avoidance capability. My question is - has he eliminated all 'button' sensors?

I believe the ultrasonic sensors he was referring to are the ones the falcon wing doors use to calculate the opening arc (so as not to hit anything). I think the collision avoidance uses the sonar from the AP hardware, but I could be mistaken.

There's still at least one set on the top of the falcon wing doors that was visible at the event. The rest of them do seem to be gone on the sides and bumpers though.

What Model X features will the S get? Huge HEPA filter? Auto open/close doors? Hitch?
