We will keep our S and get the 3 to replace our ICE car. They will serve different purposes (space, for one) but both will be great. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up liking the 3 more since it will have what sounds like some pretty cool technology. And the car we are replacing with the 3 is the same size so it won't be much of a change in that respect.

Model S has one HUGE advantage over Model 3 - you can get it now, vs. in 2020 or whenever the actual delivery will be for anyone reserving today. All other advantages, such as hatch instead of a trunk, available $7.5K government rebate, better range, power, etc. pale in comparison to the fact that you can drive your own Model S tomorrow!
