Its been a long time coming but today 2019-05-09 is the day gasoline has been vanquished from my life.

I sold the last gas burning device, a Karcher 5HP Honda Pressure Washer, loud AF, annoying, laggy, smelly, ridiculous all round, but cleans well (3000psi / 2.5 gpm / 7500 cu).

Replaced it with a Green Canpump Electric (2800psi / 3gpm / 8400 cu) from Amazon.

Ive had lots of 120v electric washers, infact i got a portable Bosch EasyAQT 1700 for when i need to use a foam lance (when i can get access to a condo washbay) but they just dont have the power to clean other things that need 2500psi+, 120v washing cars is okay though, lower pressure is better as to not tear off pain protection film

There is some setup involved...
need 500ml of non-detergent engine oil 10W (Canadian tire has this for $6/L)
2-pole 30A breaker 240v
240v, 30a extension cable (used a RV TT30 25ft, cut the ends off, put my own on)
6-30R, 6-30P, L6-20P, L6-20R plugs

but after all the work is done, very little maintenance! the winter/long term storage instructions is just empty the water out and disconnect the hoses lol

No more lining up for 30 mins at Costco to fill a stupid jerrycan and have my trunk smell like gasoline for weeks. (Yes i know how to fill a jerrycan, out of the vehicle and seal before putting it back but it doesnt matter, it still smells)

just like when i got my car originally and made excuses to drive places i now make excuses to clean stuff as the power all comes from solar.

I just did the lawnmower cordless high voltage (120VDC), but don’t see any snow blowers that can do what gas does.

I went the way of electric yard tools & snow blowers many years ago. My Tacoma is the last thing I own that takes gas and that's on the auction block now too.

i took the lazy way, got rid of grass all together :D, i figure the amount of water i saved not watering a lawn allows me to wash things here and there while keeping me under the average water usage.

i have a 15A 18" wide snowjoe, and its been working okay as far as power goes, the durability of the side panel is another story, but yeah i want a 240v snow thrower, 5000W instead of this pitiful 1800W thing.

I went all EGO and the snowblower is incredible. FYI, prior to that we have a Toro PowerCruve 1800 prior to that and it not only kicked ass but lasted over a decade. I'd recommend that to anyone looking for an affordable electric snowblower. It's cheaper and lighter because there's no battery but you'll want a high gauge extension cord to reach your whole property which can be a rather spendy investment by itself with today's copper prices.
