Teslaomnia: (noun) an inability to sleep or stay asleep usually caused by excitement of wanting to drive or tinker with your Tesla. Just picked up my new CPO Tesla Model S P85 and I can't sleep. I want it to be morning already so I can drive the car some more. I've wanted this car since it first debuted. I can't believe I own one now.
Same infection here. There is no known cure yet for Teslaomnia. You just have to live with it and enjoy the driving.
Soon it will be able to drive you around whilst you sleep (in it) and charge itself, then you can never be parted.
I hear this disease is catching. Becoming very popular now. Local support groups will soon pop up. Only known cure is to drive a Tesla
Two days until my CPO comes into town, very bad case of Teslaomania here. It is somewhat alleviated through the browsing of this forum, and also planning a long trip to Huntsville, AL.
Stolen from someone else in another TMC discussion: "Remember, you can sleep in your Tesla, but you can't drive your house". Get out there and drive. You can take naps at SC's.
You will not be completely bonded until you have slept in (with-weird) your new girl. Then you will become one!
Love sleeping in the model S. It helps fight Teslaomnia for the night : ) We/I have stayed in it 3 nights while "camping" in the last month and a half. Even if you set the heater to 70 you only loose ~25-30 miles in 8 hours. Once I woke up and it was snowing! You can just lay the back seats down and use a twin size air mattress. We use our camping mats to even out the ledge. The sounds of the fan is like a gentle blowing breeze whispering in your ear "I'm here for you..".
My Model S is a total obsession for me. Some nights I can't sleep in anticipation of the next mod, running over in my head all of the steps, visualizing everything. Lost at least a night's sleep before I installed the appliqué
When I saw the title, "Teslaomnia", I thought it must be someone who owned a Roadster, Sig S, 60, 85, P85, 70D, 85D, and P85D.
