What about a reminder notification in the app that after a certain amount of time....when at home.....that sends a reminder to your phone if its not connected to the charger and its below a certain level of charge. Yeah....I know....but I'm getting old. I need this sort off thing.

Perhaps you could put a daily event on your calendar to check the Tesla app for charge level?

Or a giant post it note on the dash or the garage door

The Leaf has an option to send a text when it is not plugged by a certain time. Probably a good idea for a future update.

You have to make it part of your daily routine. If you forget a day, since the range is so good you'll usually be fine depending on your daily commute.

Smartphone reminders can use your location as well these days, so the minute your phone knows you back home you get a reminder. or if you really want to go all out, how about one of these?

I don't understand how this is possible. Assuming you park in the same place every day and you aren't charging multiple vehicles. It should be second nature, just like having to open the door to get in the car.

Wireless charging is another option. When I first bought Leaf I was thinking of getting it. The fact that it adds another 10-12% of inefficiency, prevented me from taking the plunge.

Teslafi uses the API to get data from the car. There is a monthly fee and they do need a token to access.

Use my username in “how you heard about us” to get 4 week free trial instead of two.

I have a reminder set to text me if the car is not plugged in at 10pm, if at home and the battery is below 70%.

Where I mess up with forgetting is if I’m planning on going out later and then change my mind.

OP I do not know how often you charge, but if you routinely plug in every day, it becomes a habit. If you wait until you get down to a certain level, then it is irregular and easy to forget. Plug in every day!!!!
