It does not have a red underline on the screen , nor does the app , also the window sticker does not have it listed as performance. Speed is not performance speed so the only thing indicating performance is the price I paid and purchase agreement.Why would I not return it
You wouldn't return it if they can reconfigure the software and turn it into a performance.
There are two options for Tesla to solve this problem;
1. Flip the switch and turn your car into a P car.
2. Exchange your car for another one.
What I guess I don't understand is how you even left the delivery center with your car not being a P version car.... and, why the service center people didn't immediately address this. Did they think you were going to be okay with paying an extra $10,000 for performance you aren't getting? This doesn't make much sense.
